Step by Step to the Right License

For the DFB Academy, we developed an interactive infographic that presents the new paths to coaching licenses simply and clearly. Users interested in a license can now see at a glance which information is relevant to them within the renewed continuing-education and career-changer system — and it’s fully accessible. The graphic also carries a message that matters to the DFB Academy: every license counts.

Three Levels for Full Clarity

For the DFB Academy, we landed a visual bullseye. The step graphic guides the eye. Short labels and colors highlight the different aspects of the education system. Each tile represents a license, continuing-education path, or career-changer entry point. Every module is clickable and opens a deeper level with more information. This lets interested users find the information they need in three steps.

All Information Is Also Available in an Accessible Format

No barriers: the interactive graphic isn’t the only source of information on the website. Right next to the graphic, all education paths and licenses are listed. This lets users, for example on a smartphone, click through the information more easily and get the same information as they would from using the graphic. The list is also readable by assistive devices like screen readers, contributing to accessibility.
