Who we are

Sapera Studios is a Berlin-based strategy and communications consultancy. Founded in 2013 under a different name, relaunched by Katrin Kolossa in 2021.

We work for ministries, research institutions, associations and companies that need to communicate complex subjects. Our job is a clear story that holds across all channels, and teams that can carry it forward with AI.

Katrin Kolossa — Founder & Managing Director
Katrin Kolossa embodies what Sapera Studios stands for: an approach where creativity and substance go hand in hand. After studying journalism, she worked at Spiegel, CNN, and Deutsche Welle before moving into communications for German government ministries, and later taking on leadership roles at corporations, start-ups, and agencies. In 2021, she relaunched Sapera Studios.

In 2026, the trade magazine HORIZONT named her one of its "40 under 40", and Handelsblatt recognised her as a Marketing Leader. She sits on the jury of the Max Award and the German Digital Award and moderates political events and panels on artificial intelligence, including at dmexco and the BAM Festival. She writes regularly about fact-based storytelling in trade media.
