Schwarz Group
The Schwarz Group — Lidl, Kaufland, PreZero, and Schwarz Digits — is one of the world’s largest retail and environmental services companies. Since early 2025, we’ve been responsible for the visual and narrative side of Schwarz Corporate Affairs’ climate, energy, and circular economy topics: from the sustainability report to infographics, illustration, and motion design, down to deciding which topic gets told on which channel in the first place.

- Autumn 2025

- Autumn/Winter 2025

- Winter 2025/26

- 2026

- Today
Preferred Partner of the Schwarz Group, with a shared asset library and its own color system
A Visual System for Targets That Get Verified
Publishing climate targets makes you measurable. Every figure needs its base year, every target path its timeframe — and no simplification can leave out what belongs to the assessment.
For this, we developed an isometric illustration and infographic system that carries from the sustainability report all the way to a social media post. The library is built to be open-ended and keeps growing with every project.
The Circular Economy — Flip Through It
Not every system needs a screen. For trade shows and conversations, we built the Schwarz Group’s circular economy as a flip book — the same characters, the same visual language, just something you can hold. In German and English, as print and as animation.

From Visualization to Topic Strategy
In 2026, a second layer was added: a trend and strategy report for LinkedIn and corporate video. We examined nine core topics — from supply security, nutrition, and climate to digital sovereignty, the circular economy, and social responsibility, through to partnerships, Germany as a business location, and corporate independence.
For each topic, we set out which shifts we’re observing, which external forces are at play, and what follows for communications — backed by sources ranging from the OECD and IPCC to the EU Packaging Regulation. Plus a platform logic: LinkedIn for strategic framing and topic ownership, video as proof of complexity, the newsroom for depth, Reddit for listening.
A System That Grows With the Topics
A single report has grown into an ongoing collaboration: six projects since 2025, Preferred Partner status, and a visual system that keeps the same logic across topics and media.
This gives Corporate Affairs a shared visual and strategic foundation for working on complex topics. Every recommendation in the report is backed by sources and can be applied directly to channels and formats.
