Communication Strategy for Climate Protection and Transport Transition

On behalf of the district, we developed a holistic communication strategy to convey the topics of climate protection, sustainable mobility and the transport transition in a targeted and engaging way. This included developing a consistent brand presence, tone of voice and design guidelines. Particular attention was paid to an emotional visual language that authentically addresses citizens and makes the district’s commitment visible. Through strategy and design, we created concise claims, color-coordinated design worlds and versatile communication tools. These ensure high recognizability and motivate active participation in the district office’s climate protection and mobility initiatives.

Visual Identity Creates High Recognition Value

In addition to the campaign and strategy, we also developed the initiative’s visual identity. This includes the logo design, a clearly defined illustration and infographic style, as well as characteristic design elements that create a consistent and recognizable identity. These visual components support communication, make complex content understandable and contribute to the campaign’s high recognizability.

Cross-Media Campaign: Making Climate Protection Visible – Digital and in Public Spaces

The campaign was rolled out broadly – both digitally and in analog form. It ran on social media, in digital out-of-home formats and classic out-of-home placements. It was also distributed in print and online media to achieve maximum reach and visibility. This allowed the message to be communicated in a targeted way to different population groups and integrated the climate protection initiative effectively into urban space. Across more than 10 campaign motifs and five channels, the campaign achieved more than one million contacts in the district.
